All projects involving the Diocese financially or in terms of a monitoring role need to be assessed and approved by the board.
All funding proposals in support of the agreed projects will need the approval of the board.

The board will monitor and evaluate all projects that have been approved by the board and all expenditure on such projects.
Regular reports and communication from the projects is vital in keeping the funders abreast with developments and interested in further funding. The projects have direct access to the various programme officers who regularly assess and evaluate the projects commitment, vision and needs both financially and pastorally.
HABSR'S major funding partner the Bishop Simeon Trust, yearly appoints an independent evaluator to assess the progress of programmes and ministries and the monitoring and evaluation done by the various programme officers.
