We aim to achieve this by:

  • Maintaining effective internal and external communication with all beneficiaries, donors, and supporters of the organisation.
  • Maintain effective accounting systems which are transparent and accountable.
  • Prepare and present annual financial statements to all donors, supporters and beneficiaries.
  • Maintain organisational records, files documents and archives.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Monitoring the actual income and expenditure performances against the budgets and adhering to them where possible. When it becomes necessary to make judgements, the staff should consult with the board before bringing the budget into line with actual performances.
  • Establishing acceptable ratios and standards to keep control of fundraising and administration costs.
  • Ensuring that designated funds are used only for the purpose for which they were given.
  • Having effective and clear procedures in the management structure of the organisation, and disciplinary procedures in place to deal with any misuse or misappropriation of resources.
  • To co-ordinate facilities within the Diocese at its different levels eg. (Parish, archdeaconry and diocesan) and with those available within the community.
  • Co-operate with community projects as well as projects established by other denominations and faiths.
  • Networking with local, provincial, and government structures in its work and co-operating and assisting these structures where possible.
  • Assessing projects involving the Diocese financially or in terms of a monitoring role.
  • By seeking financial assistance in order to carry out its duties and to support the work and programmes it approves.
